I had acl reconstruction and bucket handle tear medial meniscus surgery. They didn’t tell my about PT ahead of time. It is almost 2 weeks, and I am just starting with PT as a lot of places didn’t have available appointments until much later.

Is it ok to leave it on? So it won't takes awhile to heat it up n conserved electric? Regards ana fr Australia

Having my ACL and meniscus repair surgery tomorrow 😳‼️ This will be my first real surgery ever so I'm anxious but also excited to start the journey to recovery. Pain is very subjective but when I initially did the injury it was by far the worst pain of my life. Hoping the post surgery pain isn't as bad. All I can say I've heard from several people don't try to play hero, there's no medals for not taking your pain meds and if you get behind it's super hard to catch up once the pain breaks through. Good luck to anybody going through this, I feel ya ‼️ Much love from AZ 🏜️😎

FYI, Breakfast pass which was gone for a while is now back at $90. Still much cheaper than than the cheapest room which is now nearly $1000 a night.

Hi. Tore my acl & had meniscus damage (bucket handle tear too) in March. Surgery planned asap when waiting lists allow. Initially painful & immobile, but now mostly mobile, occasional pain/twang & discomfort when walking a distance. Trying to weigh up the benefits of surgery or the possibility of making things worse still?? 🤷

On Day 2 of revision ACL surgery I feel painless and I feel my knee is loose WHILE BENDING am I need to worry??

I can’t move on the first day cause they put a blockage nerve on the leg after the acl

Day 4 my surgeon told me I can weight bare and I had my meniscus repaired too, just found out yesterday by my physio doctor that I can weight bare for 4 weeks, kind of pissed.

Just finishing day one of my recovery from Acl and meniscus repair sugery. i felt so good when i got home yesterday and i was using stairs. Then i woke up and all the numbing stuff had worn off….OUCH!!! I really hope tomorrow is better.

Thanks for sharing all this! I am currently 13 weeks post op. My range of motion is pretty much full at this point and I can sit on my heels with a little warmup, but I’m struggling more on the strength side of things as well as with swelling and building endurance. I hope to start jogging and hopping soon!

I’m sure a lot has changed. I graduated from Zama High back in 2005. I hope to be back and show my own family where I grew up.

I'm planning to climb this August but when I checked the Japan mountain huts website, the only huts available are at the 6th and 5th station. Are there huts at the 7th station that don't need a reservation? The Setokan, Taiyokan, and Miharashikan huts are all fully booked. I wouldn't want to hike in the dark for too long just to get to the summit by sunrise so I prefer staying at the 7th station but there's none available. I'm also hesitant with booking because I want to be flexible and check the weather first at least a week before I decide to climb. I wouldn't want to climb when it's raining and all I see is fog. Any tips?

Man, I really miss that place so much! My family and I went there back in April to May of 2002 when I was 10 years old (born in September of 1991) so many great childhood memories of that place! How I'd love to visit that place again 22 years later!

Had my ACL/MCL yesterday. Just woke up and it’s 9am. Pain is really bad but bearable, just sucks that I can’t do my daily tasks.

I’m two weeks in with bear implant surgery after i a grade 3 acl tare and meniscus and complete ligament pls help me how do I get my knee to bend I want to go back to normal 😢I just went for my first day of pt and I’m at 0-40degree how ever I sat for a month in a half before they even did my surgery the surgeon canceled my surgery 2x he dint want to do my surgery because he so called said he had a family matter 2 days before my surgery date referred me to some one else who took my case so now my pt tells me that that did not help me at all in fact it set me back a month behind to where I should be pls pls help me 😢😢I’m begging you tell me what to do I been watching your videos and I do everything and I’m so overwhelmed with this all.

Thank you for making these videos. I too tore my ACL and both sides of my meniscus. It was rough waiting for the surgery and now that I’m in post op. It’s nice to see you so agile on the crutches. It gave me confidence today to be more mobile and just suck it up and move around. This is my third day post op.
